Cicheng is located on the coast of the East China Sea and on the banks of the Yao River. It is a famous historical and cultural town in Zhejiang Province. Historical Records: "In 473 BC, the Yue King Goujian City-Gouyu", this is the earliest ancient name of Cicheng, which was later renamed "Ju Zhang". In the 26th year of Tang Kaiyuan, Cixi County was established, and it was named Cicheng because of the construction of the county seat. After more than 2400 years of historical precipitation, Cicheng has an extremely profound cultural heritage, especially marked by ancient buildings such as the ancient county government office, Confucian temple, and the school scholar hall. There are many cultural relics and historical sites in the city. It is in an area of ​​about 5 square kilometers. There are 33 state-level four-level key cultural relics protection units in the province. At the same time, Cicheng is also a fertile land of outstanding people. Cultural scholars and celebrities have emerged in endlessly. From the Tang and Song Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were 519 scholars in the Cicheng area. In modern times, a large number of celebrities such as Ying Changqi, Tan Jiazhen and Feng Jicai have emerged. Cicheng County Office was founded in the 26th year of Tang Kaiyuan (738 AD) and was built by Fangguan, the first magistrate. It lasted until 1954 and has a history of more than 1,200 years. It was originally built on Fubi Mountain. Due to foreign invasions and natural disasters, it was repeatedly built and destroyed. The existing county government was rebuilt according to the detailed drawings in the "Cixi County Chronicles" during the Guangxu period, covering an area of ​​more than 40,000 square meters. Its precious historical and cultural heritage provides us with a vivid textbook.　　 The third stop arrives at the Confucian Temple. It is currently the only most fully preserved academic palace in eastern Zhejiang. In 1997, it was listed as a provincial cultural preservation unit by Zhejiang Province. The Confucian Temple is a testimony to the cultural gathering of Cicheng. The many Cicheng people recorded in the annals of history and their moving stories are well-known: the story of Dong An in the Western Han Dynasty, the story of mother, kindness and filial piety, exudes perpetual moral charm; the prime minister of Wu in the Three Kingdoms. This shows the beauty of the spirit of Cicheng. On the fourth stop, we came to the rippling Cihu Lake on the north side of the ancient city, watched the Cihu Middle School and the lakeside scenery, visited the Shigu Pavilion, and deeply felt how much it is to study in such a peaceful, beautiful, and good learning environment. The wooden structure of the Daxiong Palace has no beams. For thousands of years, it has not eaten insects, birds, spiders, and no dust. It is still a mystery for the ages, fully witnessing the talents and wisdom of ancient craftsmen.　　 At 4:20 in the afternoon, we ended the day of travel and returned to the original road.
