On September 2, the third session of the measurement management system promotion and implementation training meeting hosted by the Ningbo Municipal Market Supervision Administration and undertaken by the Ningbo Institute of Metrology and Testing was held in Lubu, Yuyao. The company participated in this meeting as a metrology standard-building enterprise.
This training was lectured by Wang Peijun, a senior engineer from Ningbo Metrology and Testing Research Institute. He introduced the background, characteristics, basic ideas, scope of the measurement management system, domestic and international application status and differences in the measurement management field, and modern enterprises. The purpose and significance of the actual application of the measurement management system, and the use of videos and case studies, let the participants more intuitively understand the importance of the measurement management system in daily production and life.
In order to further consolidate the measurement foundation and comprehensively improve the overall measurement capability and level, as early as 2013, the State Council issued the "Measurement Development Plan (2013-2020)", which clearly required the improvement of the measurement and testing system certification in accordance with the relevant standards and international recommendations of the measurement management system System, promote large and medium-sized enterprises to establish and improve the measurement, testing and management system.
Yuyao Market Supervision and Administration Bureau actively promotes the establishment of a measurement management system in order to improve the overall quality and stability of the company's products, promote the "Made in Zhejiang" brand. From 2018 to the end of 2019, a total of 7 units have successfully passed the measurement management system certification after a comprehensive review in two batches, marking that our city’s enterprises have been in line with international measurement management.
