Pen Drawing: Description of "Alma Mater in Memory-Old Scenery of Yuyao Middle School"

　　 The 80th anniversary of Yuyao Middle School (No. 1 Middle School) is underway.

　　 Yesterday morning, I was invited by my alma mater to participate in the school celebration calligraphy and painting exhibition with five other old alumni. My three ink figure paintings will also be exhibited. Tomorrow (2015.11.8) is the school anniversary day, and I want to participate because I have never participated in the celebration of my alma mater before and I want to leave something for my alma mater. Taking a break, I came to the old school area this morning. I wanted to draw a sketch of a scene, record and try hard to recall my life in the first middle school (junior and high school) that lasted four and a half years (1973.2-1977.7). But the old campus has no relics that I can identify. The ruins of the wall, the muddy and rugged roads, simply cannot compare with the new campus located on Siming West Road. But the root of reading and learning that I maintain is still in the old campus of a middle school!

　　 Back at home, I searched for everything that could be associated with my campus in those years, and found my yellowed high school graduation photo, and from my mother I found a few photos of teachers and students when my mother was teaching in a middle school. Slowly established scene associations in the background, and called several old classmates several times to verify the details of the school building. At 13:30 in the afternoon, I started to draw the reminiscence painting, and until the evening I formed the pen drawing of "Alma Mater in Memory—Old Scenery of Yuyao Middle School".

　　 Regardless of the recall rate of the details, this is my simplest original memory, and I can recall the study and life of our alma mater with all alumni. Therefore, I am going to put this manuscript into a frame and give it to my alma mater tomorrow morning.
