[Introduction] In the midsummer of 2013, it was an unforgettable hot 55 days. The heat waves caused by strong sunlight caused the rivers to dry up and the ponds dried up in many places; considerable trees were directly roasted into firewood, such as camellia, azaleas and many other tree species were scorched and withered by the sun; bamboo was sunburned. Leaves..., in order to save the lives of those trees with the mission of creating shade, our various drought-relief teams and individuals have watered and cooled agricultural bases, residential quarters, parks, squares, roads, and their own courtyards to reduce the tree’s death and drying. Burning and death in the sun reflects the people's high sense of responsibility, consciousness and courage to fight stubbornly against nature.
For example, on the newly built Yuyao Avenue, from 4:30 in the morning to 12:00 noon, you can see that there are many teams along both sides of the road to water the newly planted trees to moisturize and support Green promenade. "Old Man Li • Sweat to Keep the Green Shade" drawn by Zhang Zhong reflects the process of Old Man Li sweating and watering with the cooperation of his companions.
This work not only shows the labor and dedication of Old Man Li, but also contains the hard work and dedication of the general public, including us, to ensure the greening of the factory area, homes, and plant growth. The author writes (painting) with feelings. .
